Connect with the life force that moves through you.
I am a 500-hour RYT yoga and meditation instructor whose teaching is rooted in a deep respect for the body’s innate intelligence. I believe that yoga is as much about unlearning old patterns as it is about discovering new ones. My own path into the practice began in a season when I felt disassociated from my body. The heat, effort, and discipline of the asanas revealed a resilience I had forgotten I had.
I reconnected deeply to the practice after burning out from years of striving and proving myself, grieving the loss of someone I loved deeply, and navigating the injustices I experienced while living in different parts of the world. The practice gave me a place to land. It helped me cope with emotions my mind had no language for. Through movement, breath, and community, I learned to process what I felt somatically and let my body guide me toward healing and clarity.
I see yoga as a constant balancing of tapas and aparigraha. It is the fire of discipline and the softening that comes with non-attachment and letting go. This balance mirrors the dichotomous energies and layers within each of us. On the mat, we practice meeting these internal tensions with presence rather than resistance.
My classes invite you to explore your edge, not for achievement but for the experience of deepening what your body already knows. Expect heat-building sequences that challenge you to step into your strength, sharpen your focus, and expand your breath. My intention is to help you experience the resilience that exists in your being and hope you leave each session feeling lit from within.
Off the mat, I am a communication and mindset coach and the founder of a nonprofit that supports girls’ education and literacy in Central America. I am a dog mom, aunt to the coolest kids, and a lover of live music and modern dance. I’ve traveled to over 60 countries.
I received my training at Down Under Yoga in Boston and Yoga New Vision in Ubud, Bali. I have continued my studies in hands-on assists, the science of flexibility, and pranayama. I hold deep gratitude for the teachers who continue to shape my practice, including master Deep Kumar, Siddhi Om, Gregor Singleton, Shawna Lemelman, and Dan Steele.
I am because you are.
